Indonesian business strengthens further

Another milestone in Indonesia was reached last week as Grundfos opened an additional sales office, this time in Surabaya, the country’s second largest city and capital of the East Java province.

“Our new branch office in Surabaya is proof of our steady growth in Indonesia. It has a very strategic role in the expansion and development of the Grundfos business in eastern Indonesia for all segments - Industry, Water Utility, Commercial Building Services and Domestic Building Services,” said Giancarlo Roggiolani, General Manager of Grundfos Indonesia & Philippines.

Catering to customers
The new office has been designed with customers in mind with facilities such as service workshops, training rooms and product displays. Its location in central Surabaya should also ensure quicker service and coordination with local dealers.

“All this will further support our reach and service to the eastern Indonesian market more freely,” said Giancarlo Roggiolani.

The Surabaya office follows in the footsteps of many forward steps taken during nearly 30 years of Grundfos Pompa, the Indonesian sales company established in 1990. This includes the head office in Jakarta and various sales offices.
