Niels Due Jensen honoured with Hungarian order

The Hungarian Ambassador to Denmark, Kristóf Altusz, visited Bjerringbro to award the Commander’s Cross to Niels Due Jensen for his and Grundfos’ efforts to establish and develop business in Hungary. The order was given on behalf of the President of Hungary.

“This is an acknowledgement of Niels Due Jensen’s work to establish and develop business in Hungary. It is given to persons who have achieved something unique and promoted Hungary in a way worth to commemorate. The Commander’s Cross is the highest order we can award, to someone who is not Hungarian,” says Kristóf Altusz.

Niels Due Jensen was Group President of Grundfos when we established our production company in the country, and he was a driving force behind that decision. Since then our organisation has developed further in the country, creating value not only for our organisation but also for Hungarian business and our local communities in Tatabánya and Székesfehérvár.
