FAQ
Question: What does the E1 error mean on my ALPHA GO pump, and how can I fix it?
Answer:
E1 error on ALPHA GO pumps (ALPHA1 GO and ALPHA2 GO) indicates that the pump is blocked. When this happens, the red LED light will turn on, signaling an alarm that requires immediate attention. This event is recorded in the ALPHA2 GO event log as Code 51, and it will be shown in the Grundfos GO App.
Why does this happen?
- Deposits or debris have accumulated inside the pump, preventing the rotor from turning.
- System contamination or poor water quality can lead to blockages over time.
How to fix it:
Only a qualified specialist must perform such work.
- Isolate the pump
- Remove the pump head
- Remove the deposits
Important: Only a qualified specialist should attempt to unblock the pump. If you are not trained, contact Grundfos Service for assistance.
