FAQ
Question: What does the E2 error mean on my ALPHA GO pump, and how can I fix it?
Answer:
E2 error on ALPHA GO pumps (ALPHA1 GO and ALPHA2 GO) indicates undervoltage while running. This means the pump is receiving lower electrical voltage than required, but it continues to operate.
You will also notice the yellow LED light, which signals a warning—the pump is working, but not at optimal performance. The ALPHA2 GO event log will register this warning as Code 40, and it will be shown in the Grundfos GO App.
Why does this happen?
- The power supply voltage is below the specified range.
- Temporary fluctuations in the electrical network.
How to fix it:
- Check the power supply to ensure it meets the pump’s voltage specifications.
- If the voltage is consistently low, contact an electrician or your energy provider.
Tip: The pump will keep running during this warning, so immediate action is not always required unless the issue persists or causes system inefficiency.
