Order Pick-up

Here you can order pick-up of used pumps ready to be recycled. 

What is Take Back?

Take Back has two purposes

1. Collect obsolete pumps and recycle as high a percentage as possible

2. Create jobs for people with a disability

 

With the purpose of collaborating on improving environmental and social impact, installers, wholesalers, and Grundfos join together to ensure the sustainable management of end-of-life circulator pumps through our Take Back and recycling program.

We want to recycle as high a share of the pumps as possible, to save the environment in the best possible way. But it is more than that, we also strive for creating jobs for the skilled people who, for social and / or health reasons, have reduced working capacity. 

If you want to help both the environment and your fellow human beings, simply hand in your used pumps at your wholesaler. Then they will be sent back to Grundfos, and we take care of the rest.

Why Take Back?

When the pump reaches end of live, it is in fact not the end.

We take back the pump and thereby help protect the environment and at the same time we create jobs for an inclusive workforce. 

We do this because we acknowledge our responsibility to ensure a sustainable production and a place for everyone in the job market. 

The Take Back program ensures that ALPHA, UP, COMFORT, MAGNA and SCALA are disassembled and the materials and components recycled.

Manually disassembly maximizes the percentage of material which can be recovered through recycling.

All you have to do is to deliver the end-of-life pumps at your local wholesaler or signing up to be a collector yourself, then we take care of the rest.
