The partnership enhances local service capabilities for critical water treatment infrastructure and supports utilities throughout equipment lifecycles.
Water technology company RSE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grundfos, a global manufacturer of advanced pump and water solutions, in a move to enhance customer service levels and accelerate the delivery of standardised treatment approaches across the UK and Ireland.
The MoU designates RSE as a Grundfos Authorised Service Provider for Dosing and Disinfection – enabling the companies to work more closely on the design and delivery of repeatable water treatment solutions, while improving customer access to Grundfos’ products.

The two companies signed the agreement today at the IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition in Glasgow, where they are joint headline sponsors.
Water utilities today face growing expectations to deliver reliable, high-quality services while managing increasingly complex infrastructure.
Through the expanded partnership, RSE and Grundfos will combine their expertise to provide water companies with greater access to technical support, maintenance services and spare parts for water treatment systems, drawing on RSE's established presence and relationships across the UK water sector.
Grundfos’ products will be more closely integrated into RSE’s standardised manufacturing model, which brings treatment technologies together into modular units that are built and tested in factory environments before being installed onsite. This controlled and repeatable approach can shorten project timelines and provide greater consistency across multiple water infrastructure projects.
Since beginning their collaboration, RSE and Grundfos have jointly delivered on several projects across the municipal water sector. This expanded agreement creates a framework for further collaboration as utilities continue to invest in resilient and sustainable water infrastructure.
The partnership will benefit the growing installed base of water treatment systems serving utilities supporting critical water infrastructure used by millions of people across the UK and Ireland.
Connor Morton, Managing Director of Chemical and Wastewater Solutions at RSE, said: “The water sector is being asked to deliver major investment programmes faster and under increasingly stringent regulatory expectations. RSE is focused on making that easier by taking proven technologies and building them into solutions that can be repeated and refined from one project to the next.
“Working closely with Grundfos will help us improve access to its products, while bringing more consistency to the design and delivery of dosing and disinfection solutions. We see this as the start of a deeper technical partnership that combines our companies’ shared water treatment expertise to support the sector’s wider needs.”
Duncan Leathley, Area Sales Director UK & Ireland at Grundfos, said: “Supporting critical water infrastructure requires strong partnerships and for customers to have access to the right expertise when they need it.
“By expanding our collaboration with RSE, we are strengthening our ability to support utility customers across the UK and Ireland with the services, expertise and responsiveness needed to keep essential water treatment systems running reliably. Together, we can help utilities maximise performance and uptime throughout the lifecycle of their investments, to reliably deliver essential water services to the communities they serve.”
