Grundfos Pumps Ltd - Coronavirus/Covid-19 statement – update 03/11/2020

As an organisation who understands their responsibility to protect their staff, community as well as the wider society; Grundfos have been keen, during this period of uncertainty, to act in a pre-emptive way in an attempt to minimise the impact that the Covid-19 virus presents to us all.

We continue to remain as agile as possible within this unprecedented scenario and took early steps such as banning unnecessary international travel, imposing self-isolation where people had travelled from high risk areas and limiting our attendance at any public gatherings/events/conferences.

We have had also had all office employees working from home since Monday 16th March, a situation that will remain in place until further guidance is available from the UK government and following careful review and ratification by our local management team. Although this is limiting face-to-face meetings, due to the nature of our IT/comms system set-up, we are able to offer customers a ‘business as usual’ service from home, so we continue to expect there to be minimal disruption to the business.

As our offices remain closed, no deliveries can be accepted until further notice. Service requests and visits, will continue to be assessed on a case by case basis.

As this is a fluid situation we will continue to monitor our position to ensure that we are prepared to respond appropriately and responsibly.
