US and data centre solutions are key growth drivers
In line with strategic priorities, Grundfos maintained strong growth in the US, with sales increasing by more than 20% in the first half of 2026. Today, the US is the single biggest market for Grundfos.
Growth in the US is led by exceptionally strong demand for data centre solutions but also by Grundfos’ broad portfolio of solutions serving many applications including water treatment and groundwater intake.
Regaining momentum in Europe
Grundfos is also regaining momentum in Europe, with Southern and Central European countries, in particular, on a solid growth trajectory.
Commenting on the first-half performance, Grundfos CEO Poul Due Jensen said: “This is a very strong result, and I am incredibly proud of my colleagues and our performance. Our success is based on strong execution and our ability to deliver on our customers’ demand for energy- and water-efficient solutions. We have become a preferred supplier in the data centre industry; however, our growth is founded by the versatility of our portfolio, which makes us the preferred supplier across many markets and industries.”
Significant investment to meet demand for Grundfos’ high-efficiency solutions
Demand for Grundfos’ energy-efficient solutions is on a sharp increase. To support the growth, and to increase resiliency of its supply chains Grundfos is making a 400 million DKK investment in a 50% capacity expansion of the production of high-efficiency motors at its plants in Mexico and Hungary. This follows Grundfos’ recent announcement of the expansion of its Texas plant.
“Our customers trust us to help them reduce energy and water consumption through our high-efficiency solutions. We have therefore accelerated investment plans to increase capacity for the production of our high-efficiency motors. By investing across Europe and North America, we will be able to meet growing demand while strengthening the resilience of our supply chains,” said Due Jensen.
